This book presents the 32 species of grasshoppers and bush-crickets found in Finland. It provides general information about the national species, individual species profiles with distribution maps, habitat descriptions, identification tips, and photographs taken in the wild. Included is a CD containing comprehensive recordings of the songs of all Finnish grasshopper and bush-cricket species — the first of its kind ever published in Finland. The book features photographs of all species found in the country, several of which had never been photographed in Finland before.
