First edition of the first philosophical monograph after his thesis by J. W. Snellman, the Finnish philosopher and statesman. Called the first part (“Förstä häftet” in Swedish”), yet the intended second part was never published. In this work Snellman attempts to explicate Hegelian philosophy, which rewarded him with the interest of one Z. Haeggström to publish his three part textbook on Hegel.
