    Sobralia Xantholeuca, also known as the Yellow White Sobralia, is a terrestial orchid from Mexico and Guatemala.

     

    John Nugent Fitch was a British botanical illustrator and lithographer. With the total of 528 plates, he was the master illustrator of the 11-volume magnum opus Orchid Album, Comprising Colored Figures and Descriptions of New, Rare and Beautiful Orchidaceous Plants. All the plates were based on his own original watercolours which are nowadays part of the permanent collection at the Natural History Museum in London.
