Original 18th century botanical engraving by John Miller. Large folio size hand-coloured copper engraving. Painted, Engraved and published by J. Miller in Dorset Court. Name of the plant engraved in Latin on the sheet.
The engraving is from the English edition of John Miller’s botanical study “An Illustration of the Sexual Systems of Linnaeus”.
Good condition. Colours are bright, margins wide. Plate dimensions 45 x 29,5 cm cm, sheet dimensions 53 x 35 cm. Three pieces of adhesive on the right edge touching the plate mark.
