First edition of the first Moomin picture book written and illustrated by by Tove Jansson. Original Swedish language edition.
Helsingfors, Schildts, 1952. [24] pp. Richly illustrated. Hardcover with grey cloth spine and colour illustrated red boards with large round cut-out window. Very good condition. Tight binding. Interiors clean. No defects.
The first edition of Hur gick det sen? was published simultaneously in Finland (both in Finnish and Swedish) and Sweden. This is the first Swedish language version published in Finland with edition of only 4500 copies. The Swedish edition published in Sweden was much larger: 15 500 copies.
