    Original half-leather binding, spine with five raised bands, dark brown label with quilt title. All the ex libris are in excellent condition. Little wear at the edges. Minor scratch on the front cover. A very good copy.

     

    First, numbered edition, this being number 5/150. Signed by the author E. J. Ellilä. This copy also belonged to Ellilä, his ex libris on the front cover. The book features 135 original ex libris, each attached to their respective pages. This work presents ex libris of many famous Finns, among them Marshall Mannerheim’s (1867-1951), the commander-in-chief of the Finnish Defence Forces during WWII and later President of Finland.
