    Raymond Chandler was an American-British novelist and screenwriter. He was the founder of hard-boiled detective fiction, with its cynical, antiheroic protagonists. The protagonist in Chandler’s novels, Philip Marlowe, was played in films by American cultural icon Humphrey Bogart. Red Wind: A Collection Of Short Stories is a collection of Chandler’s short stories previously printed in Dime Detective, Black Mask, and The Saturday Evening Post in the 1930s.
