Upsaliae, apud viduam B. Joh. Höjer, 1738. (8), 150, (2) pp. Woodcuts in the text and 1 folded plate. Later binding in black leather (bookbindery Jokinen) with red titlepiece on spine. Old water stains on the title page, some browning on the interiors.
Willem Jacob ‘s Gravesande (1688-1742) was a Dutch professor of mathematics, astronomy and philosophy at Leiden University.
